COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — A Texas A&M University student holding a sign that pleaded with rocker Bruce Springsteen to share a song on stage had his wish come true in Philadelphia.

KBTX-TV (http://bit.ly/2c8GT0K ) reports Matthew Aucoin’s homemade sign said: “Can a college kid play ‘No Surrender’ with you?”

Springsteen noticed the sign during a concert Friday night and had the 19-year-old sophomore from Spring, come on stage. Aucoin was handed a guitar and the pair began to play and sing with Springsteen’s E Street Band.

Aucoin, who got a guitar last year for Christmas, said Tuesday that he’s been playing every single day since then. The business administration major says he’s looked up to Springsteen his whole life.
