WHAT’S AT STAKE
Texas travels to TCU for the first time since 1994, when both schools were still in Southwest Conference. The Longhorns, coming off an open date following an impressive victory over Oklahoma, will try to stay undefeated in Big 12 play. The Horned Frogs, 3-0 at home this season, are playing first night game on campus this season.
Texas RB Johnathan Gray against TCU defense. Gray is second in Big 12 with 94 yards rushing per game. The Longhorns average 203 and had two 100-yard rushers against Oklahoma. Even without DE Devonte Fields, last year’s Big 12 defensive player of year who had season-ending foot injury, the Frogs lead the league allowing only 115 yards rushing per game.
