Two-minute film on Fort Worth contest to highlight Lone Star Film Festival

'All right Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close up.'

Many Fort Worth filmmakers will get the chance to showcase their work at this year’s Lone Star Film Festival – some as large as a feature-length film, and others as small as two-minute short.

Two-minute videos are exactly what the Fort Worth Film Commission and Lone Star Film Society are looking for in the inaugural My Fort Worth Film Competition. The competition is open to films, music videos, documentaries or animated shorts, so long as they’re exactly two minutes long and shot entirely in Fort Worth.

The winning video will be screened at the Lone Star Film Festival, which takes place Nov. 10-13 at Sundance Square. Other select entries will also appear on the Fort Worth Film Commission’s website.

The deadline to submit a video is Aug. 31. Submissions can be sent here: https://filmfreeway.com/festival/LoneStarFilmFestival
