You can’t keep a good noirish private eye in the dark for long.
Hulu is bring back Veronica Mars, the female private detective that ran for three seasons and has had revivals in a film as well as two novels.
Starring Kristen Bell and produced by Rob Thomas, Hulu has ordered eight episodes as part of the Hulu Originals slate in 2019. All past episodes of the series will be available on Hulu beginning in summer 2019.
The first episode will be written by Thomas who created the series. No word on other members of the cast. When the series was originally broadcast, Mars was a high school student investigating crimes in Neptune, a coastal town in Southern California.
