Celebrity Lecture Series | Camp Bowie: Military History of the Cultural District
Monday, November 11 | 7:00 PM Celebrity Lecture
Shortly after the United States joined the First World War, 30,000 troops descended on Fort Worth to train and prepare. What became known as Camp Bowie lasted only a few years, yet it left a permanent mark on our city. Join us on Veteran’s Day for a Celebrity Lecture with Tyler Alberts, Executive Director of the Military Museum of Fort Worth, to discover what went on in Camp Bowie’s eastern section – the land that would go on to become the Cultural District the Museum sits in today. An opening will be conducted by Trace Chinworth, the CEO of the Military Museum of Fort Worth
