Lynn Gravley has been appointed to serve on the UNT System Board of Regents by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. Gravley will serve on the board through May 22, 2031. Gravley is the founder and CEO of NT Logistics Inc., which has been recognized multiple times over its 25-plus-year history as one of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He serves as chairman of the advisory board for the UNT G. Brint Ryan College of Business for Logistics and Supply Chain Management and as chairman of the Transportation Intermediaries Association. He previously served on the Gunter (Texas) Independent School District Board of Trustees, the Gunter ISD Foundation Board of Directors, and the Christian Care Centers Board of Directors.
Most notably, Gravley has been a two-time finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was inducted into the UNT College of Business Hall of Fame in 2025.
“We are grateful to Gov. Abbott for his appointment of Lynn Gravley, a distinguished UNT alumnus whose leadership and service exemplify the very best of North Texas,” said Dr. Michael R. Williams, UNT System chancellor. “Regent Gravley’s influence as an entrepreneur, public servant, and industry leader reflects a deep commitment to advancing our region and strengthening our impact for students and the communities we serve.”
The Board of Regents, the governing body for the UNT System, is composed of nine distinguished and dedicated Texans appointed by the governor and confirmed by the Senate. Regent terms last six years and are staggered so that three members are appointed every two years during the legislative session. Gravley earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology from UNT in 1987 and remains active in the university’s Sigma Nu Alumni Association. He was honored in 2021 with the UNT Distinguished Alumni Award.
