New hires at Dex Media are Stephen Andrasko and Christopher Folmar. As assistant vice president of enterprise change management, Andrasko is responsible for overseeing cross-enterprise projects, ensuring they are delivered on-time and on-budget. He brings 25 years of experience across a range of industries, including global yellow page industry, and medical and benefits organizations. Folmar is director of digital production management, customer relationship management, marketing automation and online engagement. He has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, including creating and leading digital product development strategies and go-to-market plans across mobile and online platforms.

Balcom Agency promoted Alyssa Barr from director of first impressions to account coordinator. In her new role, Barr will coordinate media and manage advertising projects for several clients in the oil and gas, retail and agricultural industries. Barr joined Balcom in 2014.

Lukas Delaney has been named assistant chief pilot at the Executive AirShare base at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport. Delaney joined Executive AirShare in September 2013, piloting Super King Air 350 and Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft. He helped launch the company’s operations at San Antonio International Airport. Delaney has seven years of experience in business aviation, beginning as a flight instructor with FlightSafety Academy in Vero Beach, Fla. He later served as a cargo pilot with FlightExpress Inc. in Orlando; a cargo and training captain with Ameriflight LLC at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport; and a training captain with Dynamic Aviation, supporting U.S. Armed Forces in Afghanistan. Delaney takes over for Daniel Ireson, who has been named to the newly created position of assistant chief pilot-managed aircraft.

Engineering & Construction

Scott Berman is a new senior project manager in the Fort Worth branch of Pacheco Koch. Berman has 14 years of engineering experience, serving North Texas clients in hydrology, hydraulics and water resources engineering. His duties have included project management, oversight and delivery of complex multidisciplinary study and design projects for municipal and private clients. Most recently he served as senior project manager and assistant group manager at Freese & Nichols. Berman is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Texas Floodplain Management Association. He served as ASCE’s Fort Worth branch president and has served on multiple TFMA committees.

Erin Atkinson, director of geographic information systems (GIS) and team leader in the Fort Worth office of Halff Associates Inc., is one of four newly-named vice presidents. Atkinson leads a variety of projects using GIS technology to assist the engineering process through spatial analysis. Atkinson joined Halff in 2001 and is a Texas-licensed professional engineer, a certified floodplain manager and a certified GIS professional. He was inducted into the Texas Tech University Civil & Environmental Engineering Academy, serves on the engineering and mapping standards committee for the Association of State Floodplain Managers, and is the treasurer for the Metroplex Arc Users Group.

Health Care

Danny Davila has been named the new executive director for GroupOne HR Solutions, an employment background screening company and a subsidiary of the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council. Davila brings more than 17 years of hospital system administration and leadership experience to GroupOne. Previously, Davila worked for the HCA North Texas Division and Parkland Health & Hospital System.

Michelle Speck has been appointed senior vice president of human resources for USMD Holdings Inc. Speck will oversee and manage the HR team and provide overall direction and strategic planning for all aspects of USMD’s human resource functions, including physician and employee recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, physician and employee relations, training, management development and organizational culture development. Prior to joining USMD, Speck served as regional vice president of HR at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Health System. Her previous positions also include tenures as vice president of HR and ancillary services at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Altoona and Bedford Memorial; vice president of HR and strategic planning at Thomas Holding Co.; and vice president of marketing and business development at Ward Trucking. In addition, she has served as adjunct professor at Mount Aloysius College.

Lisa V. Lumley, a trial lawyer with Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller LLP, has been elected to membership in the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation. Fellows are selected for their outstanding professional achievements and their demonstrated commitment to the improvement of the justice system throughout the state of Texas.

The Texas Board of Legal Specialization recently granted certification to 209 attorneys, 20 of whom are from the Fort Worth area. Those inducted from Fort Worth are: Jerry J. Morrison Supply Co. claimed the title of 2014 LG Duct Free System Distributor of the Year at the AHR Expo in Chicago in January.

Law

William R. Jenkins Jr., a longtime attorney with Jackson Walker LLP, has been named managing partner in the firm’s Fort Worth office. Jenkins has a state and national trial and appellate practice that focuses on disputes related to mergers and acquisitions, internal business disputes, and real estate and construction matters. He has handled numerous significant cases, including defending several shareholder suits related to the merger of a Texas real estate investment trust with a New York investment company and successfully representing a major league baseball club against a claim of violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Jenkins has served on the executive committee of the Arts Council of Fort Worth & Tarrant County, as a commissioner of the Board of Building Appeals for the city of Southlake, and on the Affordable Housing Subcommittee for Downtown Fort Worth Inc. Jenkins also participated in Leadership Fort Worth.

Real Estate

Frontline Property Management welcomes Cortney Lackey as its newest residential property manager. With more than five years of experience in property management, Lackey has expertise in multifamily and residential property management. She started her career in multifamily, and then worked for a large residential management team before coming to Frontline Property Management.
