Tarleton State is growing, come here all about it

Seven years after opening a dedicated campus, Tarleton State University Fort Worth is set to expand with its “Rooted and Rising” master plan unveiling. The event is set for April 30 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Fort Worth campus, 10850 Texan Rider Dr.

Tarleton State and Fort Worth have long been traditions in Texas. The Stephenville campus, which has been around since 1899, has a long list of distinguished alumni, including the late Academy Award winner George Kennedy, the late renowned U.S. Army sniper Chris Kyle and many more. Now, as Fort Worth is one of America’s fastest growing cities, having surpassed a million in population this year, the Tarleton campus in Cowtown is preparing for its own growth. The evening’s agenda on April 30 will include: 4:30-5 p.m.: Networking and pre-program experience. 5-6 p.m.: Formal program and remarks. 6 p.m.: Reception sponsored by Autobahn Fort Worth. Time is running out to register, however. To reserve a place, click this link.
