TCU senior quarterback Trevone Boykin and mascot SuperFrog are featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Aug. 10 issue, released Wednesday.
Ohio State, Notre Dame and Mississippi State also have their own covers, showing players posing alongside their mascots.
Sports Illustrated ranks TCU at No. 3 in its preseason Top 25. Ohio State tops the list, with Auburn ranking second.
The other Big 12 teams on the ranking are Baylor, which ranks No. 6, and Oklahoma, which ranks No. 21.
