TCU Neeley Executive Education and the National African-American Women’s Leadership Institute (NAAWLI) have partnered in an effort to offer a unique opportunity for African-American women to enhance and transform their careers, a news release announced.
The NAAWLI Fellowship program aims to strengthen African-American women’s leadership skills as they work to elevate their careers and transform the futures of their workplaces. The goal of this annual leadership program is to engage participants, supporters and sponsors of NAAWLI, as well as alumni and supporters of Texas Christian University, the release stated.
“For 17 years we have been dedicated to building a more inclusive corporate community, and we were impressed by that same dedication in the TCU Neeley School of Business,” Pamela Estes, executive director of NAAWLI, said in the release. “When we first met with TCU Neeley leadership about this opportunity, we could see that they are in line with our goals and values. It makes perfect sense for us to partner together to create this phenomenal program.”
The program will be taught by faculty members from the TCU Neeley School of Business and NAAWLI facilitators. Topics will include:
— Leadership
— Business insight
— Financial acumen
— Strategic thinking
— Executive presence
— Process improvement
— and Leading community service projects
The 2018 three-week program begins March 18, and will be held for one week each in March, June and September. Classes will take place at the City Central Offices, located at 17250 Dallas Parkway in Dallas. The program cost is $6,500 for corporations and $5,000 for educational institutions and nonprofits.
