HOUSTON (AP) — A travel group survey finds retail gasoline prices across Texas and nationally have declined 4 cents this week.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported the statewide average is $3.46 per gallon. Drivers nationally are paying an average $3.59 per gallon.

Amarillo has the cheapest gasoline in Texas this week at $3.39 per gallon. The association says Dallas and Galveston tied for the most expensive prices at the pump at $3.48 per gallon.

AAA says the potential for late-summer hurricanes and accompanying refinery problems could disrupt gasoline production, distribution and supplies.
