Average retail gas prices below $3 across Texas

🕐 0 min read

IRVING, Texas (AP) — Retail gasoline prices across Texas slipped below an average $3 per gallon.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported the average price at the pump settled at $2.99 per gallon. That’s down a dime in the last week.

Nationwide gasoline prices fell 9 cents, to reach $3.16 per gallon.

AAA officials say low demand combined with abundant supply has kept downward pressure on global oil prices.
