Power Service Products, a manufacturer of diesel fuel additives, plans to build an additional 100,000-square-foot bulk storage and blending facility on its 42-acre site in Weatherford.

Ground was broken in April on the new building, which is scheduled for completion in March 2016.

“Our decision to expand is the result of an ever-increasing demand for our products in the marketplace. We must produce them in greater quantities, quickly and efficiently to reach our customers and network of distributors in a timely manner,” said Ed Kramer, president of Power Service Products.

The company currently employs a staff of 50 and said it would probably add employees after construction is complete.

Founded in 1956, Power Service Products is a third-generation family- and veteran-owned company whose line of diesel additive products are available at truck stops and automotive retailers nationwide.
