FTS International CEO Lanham nabs entrepreneur award

Greg Lanham

Greg Lanham, CEO of Fort Worth-based FTS International Inc., has been named EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2015 Southwest in the Energy category.

The annual awards program recognizes business leaders who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Lanham and nine other winners in 10 industry categories were announced at a June 27 gala in Dallas.

“I am honored to have been selected by the judges for this distinction,” Lanham said in a news release. “This is an award not for me, but for all the hard-working employees at FTSI who have accompanied me on this journey and supported our vision of becoming the preferred well completion partner,” Lanham said.

Forty nine finalists were selected from almost 100 nominations reviewed by a panel of independent judges. Finalists competed for the award through multiple rounds of interviews with the judging panel, which included previous award recipients.

Lanham now moves on to compete in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year national program. Winners will be announced on Nov. 14, 2015.

Lanham was named CEO of FTSI in November 2012 and has served on its board of directors since May 2011.

FTS International provides well-completion services, including pressure pumping, wireline and reservoir optimization technologies. Exploration and production companies use its products and services to enhance recovery rates from oil and gas wells.
