Retail gasoline prices down 2 cents this week across Texas

COPPELL, Texas (AP) — Retail gasoline prices across Texas have declined 2 cents this week to settle at $2.36 per gallon.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported that compares to a 3-cent increase in nationwide prices at the pump, which average $2.65 per gallon.

El Paso has the most expensive gasoline statewide this week at $2.58 per gallon. The association survey found drivers in Beaumont with the cheapest gasoline at $2.26 per gallon.

AAA experts say market fundamentals continue to support the price of crude oil moving lower in the near term due to global oversupply.
