Retail gasoline prices down 2 cents this week across Texas

COPPELL, Texas (AP) — Retail gasoline prices have slipped 2 cents this week across Texas to settle at $2.53 per gallon.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported that compares to the nationwide average price of $2.74 per gallon, which is down 3 cents from last week.

Beaumont has the cheapest gasoline in Texas this week at $2.43 per gallon. The association survey found that drivers in El Paso are paying the most statewide at an average $2.69 per gallon.

AAA experts say the national and state average retail prices for gasoline have remained relatively stable over the past month.
