Anime Frontier Rides into Fort Worth for Fourth Anime Annual Convention

North Texas’ largest anime convention, Anime Frontier, will return to
Cowtown Dec. 6 – 8 at the Fort Worth Convention Center. Partnered with the anime streaming powerhouse
Crunchyroll, Anime Frontier brings together anime creators, actors, and fans in the heart of North Texas.
“From the first Anime Frontier in 2021 to now, Fort Worth has been such a welcoming and warm city,” said
Anime Frontier show director, MK Goodwin. “This year, we have an incredible host of events, guests, vendors,
and artists that we’re excited to share with anime fans of all ages.”
Anime Frontier is proud to bring the appreciation for anime to the whole family for the first time this year with
a specialized area called Anime Frontier Jr. This area will feature special meet and greets with characters,
crafting centers, and free play areas so parents can take a moment to recharge. Anime Frontier offers special
discounted badges for kids at $16 and a Family Fun Pack that includes two adult three-day badges with one kid
badge. Additional kid badges can be added to the bundle. Kids are also welcome to come free on Sunday, December 8.

Anime Frontier’s Cosplay Masquerade
On Saturday, Dec. 7, cosplay takes over the Anime Frontier Main Stage with a Cosplay Masquerade Contest.
Contestants will compete for the chance to win prizes for craftsmanship, showmanship, and of course, best in show. Judging the annual competition will be three renowned cosplayers: Stitch Crimes, CutiePieSensei, and
Knovice Cosplay. Applications to participate in the Anime Frontier Masquerade are open through Oct. 29.

Wild West Idol Fest (WWIF)
On Dec 6, WWIF will kick off with a concert-style showcase of local idols performing popular tunes from anime
favorites to J-pop and K-pop top hits. Part cosplay, part lip sync extravaganza, the evening’s performances are
bound to get the crowd pumped and excited for the weekend ahead.
Itasha Car Show
The well-known Senpai Squad joins Anime Frontier for another year of showcasing eye-popping Itasha Cars.
These elaborately decorated cars highlight fan favorite and original anime artwork and provide fun photo
opportunities for all attendees throughout the weekend.
Artist Alley
Anime Frontier’s Artist Alley is a curated section of the exhibit hall floor for Independent and mainstream
manga/comic creators, webcomic artists, professional writers/illustrators, and 2D artists. A community
favorite, fans are bound to find their next favorite piece of original or fan art here!
