Cowboys open with Giants again, will see Murray in Week 2

IRVING, Texas (AP) — The Cowboys are opening against the New York Giants again, and will see old friend DeMarco Murray a week later.

Dallas gets the Giants at home in the third opener in four seasons between the NFC East rivals. The Cowboys won the past two meetings, including 2012 when New York was the defending Super Bowl champion.

Murray, the NFL rushing champion who signed with Philadelphia in free agency, will see his former teammates Sept. 20 at the Eagles. Murray’s first visit is Nov. 8 in the third of three scheduled Sunday night games. The New York opener is the first, followed by New Orleans on the road Oct. 4.
