Dean & DeLuca coming (briefly) to Fort Worth

Dean & DeLuca

Fort Worth is the site of the Dean & DeLuca Invitational, but the city has yet to score a permanent location for the gourmet food retailer.

This year, during the Dean & DeLuca Invitational, visitors will at least be able sample some wares at a pop-up store.

At the fan area called “Prince Street, “visitors can purchase Dean & DeLuca items. “Prince Street” is a name that is synonymous with Dean & DeLuca’s flagship store in New York City.

“Just as Dean & DeLuca is committed to excellence in food, the Dean & DeLuca Invitational does the same for the game of golf,” said Sorapoj Techakraisri, CEO, PACE Development Corporation Plc, the Thai parent company of the Dean & DeLuca brand and markets worldwide. “Together we have combined our passions to create the symbiotic goal of bringing together sports, food and charity – a convergence we can all celebrate.”

Corporate Executive Chef Brian Bistrong will be on-hand as well. Fans will have the ability to visit and purchase Dean & DeLuca products, including specialty coffees, fresh juices, pastries, hand-crafted sandwiches and other signature items.

Dean & DeLuca will also have a presence and involvement in multiple charitable activities throughout the week; including an announcement of a donation to the First Tee of Fort Worth, an organization which impacts the lives of young people by providing education programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through golf. Dean & DeLuca executives will also be participating in the annual Bed Pan Open at Cook Children’s Hospital, an event where the hospital’s staff create holes for the young patients to putt through.
