Fort Worth Chamber adds Business Attraction, Retention and Expansion leader

Sara Bass joined the Fort Worth Chamber staff December 2 as Project Management Director for Business Attraction, Retention and Expansion, one of the four pillars of the Chamber’s strategic plan, Fortify.

“Sara’s experience in real estate and business development make her a perfect fit with the Chamber and our current needs,” said Chris Strayer, senior vice president of Business Attraction, Retention and Expansion, “This role provides industry-leading client support and customer service throughout the project life cycle, enhancing the Fort Worth area’s likelihood to succeed.”

Bass will function as the day-to-day director of economic development projects and client relationships, which includes providing information and consultation on real estate, workforce, financial resources, and other relevant information that will assist the client in making their location decision.

Previously, Bass served as a Retail Strategist and Broker for The Retail Strategy, an Austin-based commercial real estate firm, where she focused on new business development and national client account management. Prior to The Retail Strategy, she was Director of CRE Marketing and Business Development with United Bankshares, Inc. in Washington, D.C.

Bass holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communications/Human Relations with a minor in Advertising and Public Relations from Texas Christian University and is a licensed Real Estate Sales Agent.
