Annual event to offer a plethora of flavors in food, drink and music
Get your taste buds warmed up because soon they will need all the stamina they can muster as it’s almost time once again for the Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival, April 3-6.
Oh, and dust off your dancing shoes because Visit Fort Worth is the official music sponsor and is presenting an exciting new layer with live performances at each event.
The festival is celebrating its 10th year in bringing together the best and brightest in North Texas’ food scene, blending the artistry of established and emerging chefs with a dynamic entertainment experience.
Once again it will all take place in what has become a familiar setting.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Heart of the Ranch at Clearfork for providing the perfect setting once again, and we can’t wait to welcome thousands of food lovers back to Fort Worth for a weekend of exceptional flavors, hospitality, and celebration,” FWFWF Executive Director Julie Eastman said.
This year also marks BMW’s debut as the Presenting Sponsor for the 2024-2025 season.
THE FOOD
This year’s culinary lineup is even more power-packed with additions such as:
*Rodrigo Cárdenas’ Dos Mares, a new seafood concept from the acclaimed Don Artemio team.
*Bocca Osteria Romana, where chef Alessandro Salvatore crafts authentic Italian cuisine from scratch.
*The Sicilian Butcher, helmed by Omar Bernal and Landon Labarthe, will highlight fresh-made pastas and house-cured meats.
*Mercado Juarez, led by Chef Eloy Reyes, brings its signature mesquite-fired Tex-Mex to the table.
*At Burgers, Brews + Blues, From Scratch Hospitality’s Walloon’s Restaurant will serve up an elevated take on a classic burger.
*At Rise + Dine, Deborah Williamson of James Provisions will present her signature whole-food-focused dishes for an unforgettable brunch.
“The Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate the incredible culinary talent that makes North Texas such a dynamic dining destination,” Eastman said. “As we gear up for another unforgettable year, we’re welcoming an exciting mix of new and returning chefs, restaurants, and beverage partners who continue to push the boundaries of our local food scene. From fresh faces like Bocca Osteria Romano, Walloon’s, The Sicilian Butcher, and the highly anticipated Dos Mares from the Don Artemio team to longtime festival favorites such as Sweet Lucy’s Pies, Jon Bonnell’s concepts, Café Modern, Bricks & Horses, and Emilia’s, this year’s lineup truly showcases the depth and diversity of our culinary community.”
THE MUSIC
The music promises to be every bit as tasty as the food, with the likes of:
*On Saturday, Burgers, Brews + Blues will feature Michael Lee and the Wartime Limousine, setting the stage for headliner Danny Joseph, whose gritty, soulful sound perfectly complements the event’s bold flavors.
*On Sunday, Ring of Fire will heat up with Max Stalling’s storytelling-infused vintage country, leading into a high-energy performance by The Great Divide, one of Red Dirt music’s most celebrated bands.
BEVERAGE LINEUP
Something new in the beverage portion of the event is the small-batch, micro-distilled vodka of Dripping Springs Distillery. Just a sip transports attendees to the Hill Country.
Made using pure, mineral-rich Artesian spring water, Dripping Springs Vodka is the only North American vodka to win a Gold Medal and Vodka Purity Trophy at the prestigious International Wine & Spirits Competition.
Adding to this year’s exciting new highlights, Celestina Blok will join Lindsey Lawing of Sweet Lucy’s Pies at The Main Event, showcasing her highly anticipated new cookbook, Cowtown Comfort. The book features 60 recipes from Fort Worth’s most beloved restaurants.
