GRAPEVINE, TEXAS – The City of Grapevine invites the community to come together
Saturday, November 7, for its annual Veterans Day Parade and Fair, honoring the men and women who have
served in the United States Armed Forces. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. along Historic Main Street, with
Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Campbell, USA, Retired, serving as this year’s grand marshal.
The parade will begin at the intersection of Main and West Hudgins streets, travel north along Main Street and
conclude at East Wall Street. Free parking will be available throughout Historic Main Street.
Following the parade, residents and visitors are encouraged to attend the Veterans Fair, hosted by VFW Post
10454 Grapevine and the City of Grapevine. The fair will take place in the large public parking lot behind the
Town Square Gazebo, located at 115 East Worth Street.
More than 15 organizations will be on-site providing information about veteran services, assistance programs and
available benefits. The event will also feature live music performed by Guitars for Heroes, an all-veteran band
that is part of the Wounded Warrior Project, along with military vehicle displays, food provided by AMBUCS and
Elks Lodge, and additional activities for attendees.
Veterans Day is observed nationally each year on November 11 to recognize and honor those who have served in
the U.S. Armed Forces. Grapevine’s annual celebration provides an opportunity for the community to express
gratitude while connecting veterans with valuable resources and raising awareness of ways residents can support
veterans in need.
The City of Grapevine encourages residents, families and visitors to attend this meaningful community
celebration and join in honoring America’s veterans.
