Cindy Hames has joined – or make that rejoined – the Fort Worth Business Press. A former sales manager at the Business Press, she is returning as vice president and general manager as the paper celebrates 30 years of providing business news to one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.
“We’ve known Cindy for many years and admired her intelligence, marketing expertise, and leadership,” said Richard L. Connor, publisher and president. “She joins us as we celebrate our 30th year in business and look forward to another 30. She will lead us to a new and bright future.”
Hames has worked in a number of sales and marketing roles in Fort Worth, most recently as director of marketing and communications for a multi-million-dollar international media and publishing organization operating in seven countries. As general manager of the Business Press she will direct day-to-day operations of the newspaper and online platforms as well as overseeing sales, marketing and community outreach.
“The Fort Worth Business Press has built a solid foundation after 30 years in the business community,” Hames said. “We are dedicated to building on that foundation and delivering products and services to our readers and advertisers that will meet their needs. Like Fort Worth, we plan to grow and keep the business community energized for the challenges ahead.
“I’m excited to return as we build on our past success and expand into the fast-changing media landscape.”
