Downtown Fort Worth Initiatives Inc. will host a virtual MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival (MAIN ST.) on social media April 13-19 to support juried artists, entertainers, restaurants, and sponsors during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
The virtual experience will be in addition to the rescheduled live, in-person MAIN ST. event, tentatively planned for September in Downtown Fort Worth, Downtown Fort Worth said in a news release.
The week-long virtual festival will take place within a Facebook event on MAIN ST.’s Facebook page, as well as on MAIN ST.’s Twitter and Instagram profiles. Throughout the week, MAIN ST. will feature 200 of this year’s artists, sharing exclusive artwork images, behind-the-scenes studio tours, interactive art tutorials, Facebook Live takeovers from various entertainers, favorite restaurant recipes and more.
To participate during the virtual event on April 13-19, or to receive more information, visit/follow MAIN ST. online at:

In addition to the virtual festival, a limited-edition lapel pin will be available for online purchase for $10 to support the festival. People who purchase the pin will receive 10% off MAIN ST. merchandise during the postponed 2020 fall event, tentatively scheduled to take place in September.
“This week-long virtual event will be an amazing opportunity for festival supporters to engage with and support artists, entertainers and restaurants, particularly those from our community,” said Nina Petty, chairwoman of the Festivals and Events Committee for Downtown Fort Worth Initiatives, Inc. “Even though we can’t all be together in Downtown enjoying the art this month, we can still enjoy the amazing imaginations and creativity that this group of juried artists can bring to our lives through our virtual festival.”
The MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival is celebrating its 35th year in 2020.
