Visit Fort Worth, the city’s destination marketing agency, will spotlight “tastemakers” who are enhancing the city’s tourism economy at its annual meeting this winter.
The keynote presentation will feature two of today’s rising stars in digital marketing and entertainment: Chris Stang’s Infatuation has generated millions of posts on Instagram and recently acquired the legendary review publisher Zagat.
“Instead of a traditional speaker, we wanted to showcase an example of new media. We are honored that Hot Ones host Sean Evans will interview Mr. Stang while eating spicy wings on our stage,” said Bob Jameson, president and CEO of Visit Fort Worth.
The sixth annual breakfast – presented by Pinnacle Bank and Tri-Hawk Media – will take place 7:30-9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at the Omni Fort Worth.

“People make Fort Worth a great place to visit. Our annual meeting will focus on these stories that are grabbing the attention of business and leisure travelers,” Jameson said.
Highlights of the meeting will include presentation of the annual Hospitality Award to the Fort Worth Zoo, which welcomes more than 1 million visitors a year and has announced more than $100 million in enhancements to its exhibits; the Season 2 premier of the Fort Worth Stories video series; and updates on the Destination Master Plan to increase the impact of tourism on the city’s visitor economy.
“The Fort Worth Zoo is one of visitors’ favorite attractions, and their contributions to education and conservation are world-renowned,” Rosa Navejar, chairman of the Visit Fort Worth Board of Directors, said in the announcement.
About 800 people are expected to attend the annual meeting.
