Newsmakers: PytchBlack expands team with 3 hires

PytchBlack has expanded its creative, public relations and management team to meet the needs of recent client base growth.

Lauren Morgan, a graduate of Abilene Christian University, is a certified public accountant and joins the firm as accounting manager. Morgan previously worked at Condley and Co. LLP for the tax division and she managed ledgers for multiple companies during her time with the private equity group TPG Capital LP.

”We are confident her knowledge of accounting and streamlined processes will enhance our firm’s financial IQ substantially, with our multiple operating units,” said Andrew Yanez, owner and lead design at PytchBlack.

Sam Kilpatrick is joining PytchBlack as a graphic designer. Kilpatrick attended Texas A&M University. Out of college, he began running his own small design practice in Austin using his degree in art and design. He will assist Yanez with design and creative production for the firm’s clients.

Alli Styron, a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, will be an account coordinator, working with ESPN Events including the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl, Las Vegas Bowl and Heart of Dallas Bowl, as well as having duties with other ESPN events. She will be responsible for public relations, sponsorship fulfillment and social media content creation. Styron worked in the athletic department at the University of Texas throughout college and gained experience as the marketing and communications intern for the Dallas Sports Commission.
