Nolan Ryan’s Hall of Fame plaque headed to Texas

COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (AP) – Nolan Ryan’s Hall of Fame plaque is taking a road trip.

The bronze plaque, which has never left the oak-lined walls of the Baseball Hall of Fame’s Plaque Gallery, is headed to Round Rock, Texas. It will be on display Friday and Saturday at Dell Diamond, home of the Pacific Coast League’s Round Rock Express.

Ryan is an owner of the team, which is the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers.

Fans will be able to take photos with the plaque before and during the Express’ games against the Memphis Redbirds.
