Adults 5K Results

The Adults 5K began with a presentation from the Fort Worth City Council and Mayor Betsy Price recognizing February 23, 2019 as Ernest LaCroix Day. Ernest is a decorated World War II veteran pilot who turned 100 years of age on February 22 and participated in the 5K. He crossed the finish line in 1:20:13.

MEN: Course Record 2013 (15:00)

First place – Graydon Morris, age 17; Time – 16:09.

Second and Third was photo finish – 2/100 of second apart.

Second – Charles Dorsett, age 25 from Fort Worth, TX; Time – 16:59.

Third – Bryan Ruiz, age 31, Weatherford, TX; Time – 16:59

Butler was attempting and succeeded in besting the USATF American Masters Age group record in the 50k which was 3:13:07.

First – Jenna Mutz, age 38, Joplin, MO; Time – 3:53:36

Second – Gina Hendrickson, age 42, Edmond, OK; Time – 4:15:29

Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price completed the Half today and has been involved with or running the Cowtown for 30 years.
