Rocket scientist to keynote Chamber’s annual meeting

Ozan Varol, rocket scientist turned professor, bestselling author and expert on creativity and critical thinking, will keynote the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce’s 139th annual meeting at 11:30 a.m. June 24 at Dickies Arena.

Varol helps industry-leading organizations reimagine the status quo with moonshot thinking.

“We’re at a pivotal moment in our city, with a new mayor and city council,” said Brandom Gengelbach, president and CEO of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. “We need to be thinking critically and bringing unique perspectives to get the results that we want in our community. The decisions we make today will shape the future of Fort Worth.”

The theme of this year’s event is Shaping the Future, signifying the Chamber and business community’s ability to take charge and be intentional with the future of Fort Worth. The event will also spotlight community and business leaders with the Susan Halsey Executive Leadership Award and the Spirit of Enterprise Award.

The hybrid event will be in-person for sponsors at Dickies Arena. Virtual tickets are available at no cost. Networking access tickets are $20.
