Schedule: Cowboys’ playoff fate likely to be settled on road

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — The Dallas Cowboys will have to be a good road team if they’re even in position to end a four-year playoff drought in 2014.Dallas finishes the season with four of six games away from home, including all three NFC East rivals. The finale is at Washington on Dec. 28.

The Cowboys open the season at their $1.2 billion stadium against San Francisco on Sept. 7. After going to Tennessee and St. Louis, Dallas plays five out of six games at home.

The bye will come after the trip to London to face Jacksonville on Nov. 9. The Cowboys play consecutive Thursday games on Thanksgiving against Philadelphia and the following week at Chicago.

The home game in the four-game finishing stretch is Indianapolis on Dec. 21.
