The Big 12 has announced TCU’s 2019 conference football schedule, finalizing the Horned Frogs’ slate for next season.
TCU will open the season Aug. 31 with a home game versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Following the first of two open dates, the Horned Frogs will travel to West Lafayette, Ind., for a Sept. 14 game at Purdue. It will be the first meeting with the Boilermakers since 1970. Purdue will visit Amon G. Carter Stadium in 2030.
TCU will close non-conference play Sept. 21 with a home game versus SMU before beginning Big 12 action the following week, Sept. 28, when it hosts Kansas, giving the Horned Frogs three home dates in their opening four contests.
In addition to KU, the Horned Frogs will also have Big 12 home games against Texas (Oct. 26) and Baylor (Nov. 9) as well as a Friday meeting with West Virginia (Nov. 29), the day after Thanksgiving.
