FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — TCU star receiver Josh Doctson was scheduled to see a specialist after rolling over on his left wrist in the 13th-ranked Horned Frogs’ first loss of the season.
Coach Gary Patterson said Tuesday that Doctson was feeling better and was set to see a specialist Tuesday night.
When talking about Doctson’s availability for Saturday’s home game against winless Kansas, Patterson said it was probable.
Doctson got hurt in the first half of TCU’s 49-29 loss at undefeated Oklahoma State on Saturday.
Doctson has 78 catches for 1,315 yards and 14 touchdowns and is TCU’s career leader for receiving yardage and touchdowns. He needs only two catches the school record of 181 career receptions.
