TCU vs. USC at Dickies Arena in 2019

TCU men’s basketball will play USC in Fort Worth’s new Dickies Arena on Dec. 6, 2019, as part of a two-year agreement between the two schools.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the inaugural college basketball game in Dickies Arena,” TCU director of intercollegiate athletics Jeremiah Donati said in a news release.

Dickies Arena, a 14,000-seat multipurpose venue scheduled to open November 2019, is located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus, a three-mile drive from TCU.

The Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena on the TCU campus has a seating capacity of 6,800.

“Dickies Arena was designed as a multipurpose venue that could accommodate a variety of different events,” said Matt Homan, president and general manager of Trail Drive Management Corp. (TDMC), the not-for-profit operating entity of Dickies Arena. “We’re looking forward to hosting TCU and providing a first-class experience for their student athletes, coaching staff and fans in 2019 and in the years to come.”

Ticket pricing and on sale information will be available at a later date. The game will not be included in the TCU season ticket package, the announcement said.
