Tickets on sale for Lockheed Martin 2017 Armed Forces Bowl

Tickets for the 15th annual Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl are officially on sale online at armedforcesbowl.com.

The bowl will be played at Texas Christian University’s Amon G. Carter Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 23. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.

The annual game is played in honor of the U.S. armed forces. It is the only collegiate football bowl game that has hosted all three U.S. Military Academy football teams – the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy and U.S. Naval Academy.

Civilians can thank armed forces members and their families by sponsoring tickets to the game through the “Host a Hero” program. “Host a Hero” tickets are $15 each and are distributed to past and present service members and their families. During the game, ticket sponsors will be recognized for their generosity.

“The ‘Host a Hero’ program has been extremely popular the last two seasons,” said Brant Ringler, Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl executive director, in a news release. “We witness the patriotic spirit and the generosity of the people of Fort Worth in so many ways, and the community’s contribution to this program has been exceptional.”

Tickets range from $30 general admission to $75 for lower bowl reserved seats. Tickets can be purchased through the website, where members of the armed forces can register for up to four complimentary tickets to the game provided courtesy of the bowl’s corporate partners and fans.

A limited number of $125 seats are available in the Champions Club on the West side of the stadium. These tickets include premium seating, and complimentary food and drink, as well as access to the inside of the club level.

Past Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowls have showcased armed forces hardware, flyovers, demonstrations, on-field induction ceremonies, bands and honor guards, and presentation of the annual Great American Patriot Award by Armed Forces Insurance.
