Riscky’s Rib Eating Contest

Riscky’s Barbeque, a Fort Worth BBQ legend since 1927, is hosting its 10th annual rib eating contest on July 23, coinciding with celebratory events hosted by the Fort Worth Stockyards and Stockyards Station in honor of the National Day of the American Cowboy. Riscky’s Barbeque will challenge 20 barbeque enthusiasts to eat as many Riscky’s beef ribs as possible in 20 minutes. The top two qualifiers will then go head-to-head for the grand prize valued at $500.

The #DFWStrong campaign, led by former Dallas Cowboy Jay and Amy Novacek, have partnered with the Chisholm Trail 100 Club along with Friends of the Police to ensure that all funds raised are handled responsibly. Fort Worth restaurants donating food and service for the event include Bonnell’s and Reata. All proceeds will directly benefit the families of those Dallas and DART police officers killed or seriously injured during the events of July 7.
