Chef Juan Rodriguez, owner of Magdalena’s Cocina Mexicana Local Catering, is taking over the kitchen at Bee’s Dive, in Aledo, and promising some amazing tacos. Come enjoy Tacos Y Mas for two nights only.

Riscky’s Rib Eating Contest


Riscky’s Barbeque, a Fort Worth BBQ legend since 1927, is hosting its 10th annual rib eating contest on July 23, coinciding with celebratory events hosted by the Fort Worth Stockyards and Stockyards Station in honor of the National Day of the American Cowboy. Riscky’s Barbeque will challenge 20 barbeque enthusiasts to eat as many Riscky’s beef ribs as possible in 20 minutes. The top two qualifiers will then go head-to-head for the grand prize valued at $500.

Fort Worth Food Park


The food park is always rockin’ and rollin’ on the weekends. Saturday June 23 welcomes Holy Frijoles, Chef’s Roadshow, Crazy Burger, Life is Sweet, and Culinary Improv. The Cantina has a half price drink of the day special between 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Music by David Tribble will then serenade your meal from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Til Sun Down Sundays


The Landmark features live music all day Sunday. July 24 they welcome special guest Larry Hooper and Friends. The full menu is available along with a special $4 drink offering of Texas Tea, Deep Eddy flavors, Tito’s Vodka, TX Whiskey and Beers.

DFW Strong – hosted by Jay and Amy Novacek

The #DFWStrong campaign, led by former Dallas Cowboy Jay and Amy Novacek, have partnered with the Chisholm Trail 100 Club along with Friends of the Police to ensure that all funds raised are handled responsibly. Fort Worth restaurants donating food and service for the event include Bonnell’s and Reata. All proceeds will directly benefit the families of those Dallas and DART police officers killed or seriously injured during the events of July 7.
