The Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge invites fans of the outdoors to “come out and test drive a canoe” from noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, July 16.
“This event provides you with a snapshot of flora and fauna found along the river,” the website says.
Interested participants need not register and should meet in the Big River Parking Lot. The event is $5 for non-members and $3 for members.
