Ben Benzer, a 17-year-old from Texline, sold his grand champion European Crossbred steer, Mufasa, for $200,000 to Hillwood Properties at the Fort Worth Stock Show Sale of Champions on Saturday morning.

Mufasa, weighed in a 1,329 pounds.

Last year, a European crossbred steer named Rocco, weighing in at 1,388 pounds and exhibited by 15-year-old Mikala Grady of Grandview, was soldfor a Stock Show record-tying bid of $240,000. Rocco was purchased by a ladies group called Women Steering Business.
