If you love french pastry and need something to do this Sunday, consider learning to create “Spectacular Summer Macarons” at Sur La Table.
The $69 class will teach patrons to make Coconut-Lime and Orange Creamsicle Macarons in a matter of hours.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. patrons will learn Macaron technique in a “fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.”
Classmates work in groups of four and all participants will receive and 10 percent off coupon for Sur La Table at the end of the class.
The instructor will show the students piping technique, how to “achieve the perfect pied (foot) and how to make two kinds of buttercream and infuse summer flavors and colors into the pastry.
