The Fort Worth Zoo has been nominated for USA Today’s list of “10 Best Zoos” in the country and the zoo, along with its cute, cuddly and adorable animals are asking for area residents to use their opposable thumbs and vote for the zoo.
According to a Fort Worth Zoo news release, USA Today assembled a panel of industry experts that created a list of zoos deemed the top 20 in the nation. Now the newspaper is inviting the public to choose the top 10. Voting continues daily through March 27.
“We’re proud to lead conservation efforts locally, regionally and in more than 30 countries around the world,” said Michael Fouraker, Fort Worth Zoo executive director. “Show your support by voting and sharing our social media posts with friends and family. Let’s show the rest of the country how special the Fort Worth Zoo really is.”
Voting can be done once a day, every day, on every device, with or without opposable thumbs through March 27.
