Robert Francis
Robert is a Fort Worth native and longtime editor of the Fort Worth Business Press. He is a former president of the local Society of Professional Journalists and was a freelancer for a variety of newspapers, weeklies and magazines, including American Way, BrandWeek and InformatonWeek. A graduate of TCU, Robert has held a variety of writing and editing positions at publications such as the Grand Prairie Daily News and InfoWorld. He is also a musician and playwright.

Sept. 27, the YWCA held its 15th annual Women Who Care, Share Luncheon at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel. The luncheon is the YWCA’s largest annual fundraising event, and this year more than 700 guests attended. The theme of this year’s luncheon was “Because of You,” with a special emphasis on women helping women in the community. Twenty-five local women were honored at this year’s event for their efforts to help women transform their lives from poverty to independence.
