Partnership establishes a cross-continental bridge between India and North Texas to support clinical research, translational science, and long-term global impact
BioNTX, the leading bioscience and healthcare innovation network in North Texas, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Indian Institute of Science Foundation (IISc Foundation). The IISc Foundation, headquartered in the United States, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers individuals and institutions to invest in the future of scientific innovation and education in India through its partnership with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), one of India’s most prestigious research universities
bringing world-class innovation from IISc, focused on supporting global clinical research, medical education, and affordable healthcare innovation.

This agreement formalizes a collaborative framework to build long-term ties between the Indian and North Texas life sciences ecosystems. The MOU reflects both institutions’ shared commitment to accelerating translational research and driving innovation that improves healthcare access and outcomes for populations worldwide.

Key Collaboration Initiatives
Under the terms of the MOU, BioNTX and IISc Foundation will collaborate in the
following areas: Ecosystem Exchange and Delegation Support: BioNTX will host visiting
delegations from IISc and facilitate curated meetings with academic institutions,
MedTech companies, investors, and clinical research leaders in the United
States.

Strategic Communications: BioNTX will amplify the work and impact of IISc’s
medical and translational research efforts across its communications platforms,
including newsletters, podcasts, and ecosystem events.

Collaborative Programming: Both parties will co-develop high-impact events,
global symposia, and thought leadership platforms to accelerate the
development and accessibility of next-generation medical technologies.
