In an off-market transaction, Paw Control Inc., a leading mobile pet grooming service, has purchased Club Canine’s boarding and kennel facility in Denton County, gaining a brick-and-mortar location to expand its award-winning business.
The move-in ready building, totaling 6,276 sf, is set on 3.03 acres at 7800 E. McKinney St. in Denton. Brian Gehrisch, vice president of Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services represented Paw Control and Christian Scofield of Scott Brown Commercial handled negotiations for the seller, who is retiring. “Both parties appreciated the opportunity to expand the legacy that’s been established with Club Canine,” Gehrisch says.
The facility will be renamed to Club Canine by Paw Control. The pet groomer is up and running at the McKinney Street site, where it now has the capacity to offer full-service grooming, boarding and kenneling for 40 dogs and provide a secure storage site for its mobile in-home services’ units. Paw Control, voted Denton County’s best mobile pet groomer, is planning to retrofit 10,000 sf of the acreage to expand its lineup. Future services will include dog training for all ages, indoor and outdoor canine day care, a splash pad and feed store.
