Fort Worth – Center for Transforming Lives is thrilled to announce the appointment
of Corrie Harris as its new Chief Development Officer. With a passion for empowering
women and children and a deep commitment to building stronger
communities, Harris brings energy and drive to lead the non-profit’s fundraising and
community engagement efforts.
Harris joins Center for Transforming Lives at a pivotal moment as the organization
opens its new Riverside campus. This transformative space will expand capacity to
provide comprehensive services including early childhood education, housing
supports, clinical counseling and economic mobility programs through an integrative
approach designed to break the cycle of poverty for women and their children in
Tarrant County.
One example of Harris’ dedication to supporting children in crisis is her previous work
as executive director of an orphanage in Central America. There, she led a successful
capital campaign to renovate a 350-acre property, expand comprehensive care and
develop sustainable funding solutions. Her efforts earned the highest recognition
from Nicaragua’s family services division. This experience deeply informs her
commitment to ensuring that all children have the opportunity to thrive.
With an extensive background in non-profit leadership and consulting, Harris is
known for her collaborative approach and dedication to community impact. As the
founder of RiseX Strategies, LLC, she has helped organizations grow their capacity
and achieve sustainable success. Her expertise in strategic fundraising, team
collaboration and donor engagement will be invaluable in building the support
needed to ensure the Riverside Campus thrives.
