Chef Tim Love, Texas native and Fort Worth’s
own hospitality entrepreneur, recently announced the official launch of the Second
Annual ALL IN Holiday Boot and Hat Drive (November 8 – December 17) at Tannahill’s
Tavern and Music Hall. This holiday initiative is in partnership with Ariat and directly
benefits the families and students of 4-H of Tarrant County. Building on the success of
2023, during which more than 40 pairs of boots were gifted to students thanks to the
generosity of Fort Worth community neighbors, Chef Love is raising the bar– aiming to
bring the holiday cheer to 100 kids this year.
“Hard work and generosity really are the keys to success,” said Chef Love. “These are
values I teach my kids and live by every day. The 4-H organization is a terrific one that really
does some great work in supporting our next generation of leaders here in Tarrant County.
This is about more than giving back—it’s about showing the next generation what it means
to step into responsibility, to work hard, and to push yourself, just like we know how to do
in Fort Worth,” said Chef Tim Love.
Beginning today through December 17, donations of new or gently used boots can be
dropped off at Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards.
Locals can easily grab a new pair at Ariat, conveniently located across the street, or swing
by local second-hand stores to buy a pair of gently used boots. For those unable to donate
boots, monetary donations can be made via shoptimlove.com, where every dollar goes
toward putting boots on the feet of hardworking 4-H students. Additionally, the Love
Collection store located within the Tannahill’s Lounge, will allow shoppers to add a
donation of five dollars or more to their purchases to support this important cause.
In 2023, Love’s call to action inspired the donation of 42 pairs of boots—this year, he’s
not holding back. Known for pushing boundaries in both the kitchen and the community,
Love is challenging Fort Worthians to rise to the occasion and make an even bigger
impact. All donations will benefit youth ages 7-18 (from youth size 2 all the way to adult
size 11) from 4-H clubs across Tarrant County, including groups like IMT Garden Club 4H,
Keller 4H, East Fort Worth 4H, Thomas Place Community Center 4H, and North Tri-Ethnic
Community Center 4H.
When asked about what this drive means to 4-H youth, Jordan Peldyak, Extension
Agent of 4-H and Youth Development Prairie View A&M University said, “We are so
grateful to Tim Love and the community for helping local 4-H youth. 4-H’ers participate in
so many positive youth development projects, from livestock and environmental education
to community service and more! Having a pair of boots will be so exciting for many of our
youth as they continue to make their best better. As of opening registration, we already
have 64 youth signed up who could benefit from this gracious gift!”
The ALL IN Holiday Boot Drive will culminate with a festive celebration on December 17
at Tannahill’s Tavern, where the 4-H students will receive their boots in a heartwarming
community event. Love is offering locals a chance to get involved in several ways:
- Donate a gently used pair of boots at Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall from
November 8 – December 17. - Buy a new pair from the Ariat Brand Shop in Fort Worth or thrift stores.
- Make a monetary donation at shoptimlove.com, Love Collection Store, and
Tannahill’s Lounge.
As a thank-you for giving back, Love is offering some festive perks:
● $50 donation: Enjoy a complimentary holiday cocktail.
● $100 donation: Free boot branding and a holiday cocktail, plus a small ornament on
Tannahill’s Christmas tree.
● $500 donation: Large ornament with your name on Tannahill’s Christmas tree, free
boot branding, and a holiday cocktail.
For Chef Love, the ALL IN Holiday Boot Drive is more than just a charitable endeavor—it’s a
celebration of Fort Worth’s rich cowboy culture and its deep-rooted spirit of giving. With
Ariat’s support, Love is leading the charge to ensure that this holiday season, Fort Worth’s
youth are well-equipped to tackle their dreams.
