Longtime Civitas leader brings nearly nine years with the organization and extensive experience across operations, sales, strategy, and people leadership
FORT WORTH, Texas (Oct. 2, 2026) – Civitas Senior Living today announced the promotion of Anthony Ormsbee-Hale to Executive Vice President of Operations, where he will lead operational performance and continued growth across the company’s portfolio of independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities in Texas, Colorado, Kentucky, and Arizona.
Ormsbee-Hale’s nearly nine-year career with Civitas reflects both his growth as a leader and the breadth of experience he brings to the role. He joined the company as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing before advancing through several key leadership positions, including Vice President of People Operations, Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations and, most recently, Chief People Officer.
His experience across sales, operations, strategy and people leadership gives him a comprehensive understanding of the elements that drive successful senior living communities: strong leaders, engaged teams, exceptional resident experiences, disciplined operations and consistent performance.

Ormsbee-Hale’s operational foundation began before his time with Civitas. Earlier in his career, he served as both Executive Director and Director of Sales and Marketing at assisted living and memory care communities throughout Texas. His experience leading communities directly has continued to shape his approach to enterprise leadership and his focus on ensuring operational strategies translate effectively to the community level.
As Executive Vice President of Operations, Ormsbee-Hale will focus on strengthening operational excellence across the Civitas portfolio, developing high-performing leaders and teams, driving sustainable occupancy and financial performance, and ensuring communities continue to deliver exceptional experiences for residents and families.

Ormsbee-Hale has also remained committed to continued professional growth and advancing the senior living profession. He holds an MBA from Western Governors University and a Master of Public Policy from Southern Methodist University, as well as a Strategic Human Resources certificate from Cornell University.
Beyond Civitas, he has served as a lead instructor for the Texas Assisted Living Association’s Assisted Living Manager Certification Course and hosts the TALATalks podcast, reflecting his commitment to developing leaders and contributing to the senior living industry.
