Cooksey® Secures Four dotCOMM Awards Honoring Digital Advertising and Marketing Achievements

North Texas-based strategic communications firm Cooksey Communications recently received four dotCOMM Awards in the 2025 international competition that honors the year’s best digital marketing, advertising and public relations work. This is the eighth straight year that Cooksey has earned recognition in the dotCOMM Awards program.

The four awards, including one Platinum, one Gold and two Honorable Mentions, showcase Cooksey’s diverse and robust experience in digital public relations and content marketing. The award-winning entries were as follows:

PLATINUM
• eBrochure (Owned Media) – Region C Water Planning Group: Cooksey created a e-brochure titled “A Critical Process for North Central Texas’ Future Prosperity and Quality of Life” to highlight the essential work the Region C Water Planning Group does to ensure the next 50 years’ water supply for North Central Texas. The e-brochure contains essential facts, as well as eye-catching design elements and a variety of infographics to convey complex information in an easy-to-understand manner for the public’s benefit.

• Article or News Placement (Earned Media) – Credit Union of Texas (CUTX): Cooksey secured an article in CUSO Magazine, a leading industry trade publication, showcasing how Credit Union of Texas is breaking down the language barrier through its Todos Unidos program, created to assist underbanked and underserved populations.

HONORABLE MENTIONS
• Business (Podcasts/Single Episode) – The Real Estate Council (TREC): Cooksey secured an article in Candy’s Dirt for Jamee Jolly, CEO of TREC, to discuss the current state and future of the commercial real estate market in Dallas.
• Article or News Placement (Earned Media) – Trinity Regional Flood Planning Group (RFPG): Cooksey secured an article in The Madisonville Meteor calling for public participation in the development of the 2028 Trinity Regional Flood Plan, which will recommend a wide array of flood mitigation solutions for the 38-county Trinity River Basin of Texas.
