Decades of Impact: Trinity Habitat for Humanity and Alcon Build Stronger Communities Together

Community impact takes shape in Fort Worth as Trinity Habitat for Humanity and Alcon came together at Garden Springs for a home dedication honoring Habitat partner family, Rhonda Anthony. As part of this year’s Alcon in Action Week, nearly 200 Alcon associates will roll up their sleeves to raise the walls and kick off construction on three Habitat homes.

This event reflects the continued momentum of Alcon’s long-standing partnership with Trinity Habitat for Humanity. Since 2000, nearly 2,400 Alcon associates have volunteered to help build 30 homes across Fort Worth. This year’s effort advances that legacy with the construction of the 31st, 32nd, and 33rd homes built together, demonstrating the lasting impact of decades of shared commitment to essential workforce homeownership.

“Despite her hard work and steady job, Rhonda could not afford homeownership. For years, expensive and unstable apartments defined her experience—but not anymore,” said Trinity Habitat for Humanity CEO Gage Yager. “Thanks to Alcon’s partnership, the American Dream of homeownership is becoming a reality. This is how meaningful change happens—when companies dedicated to excellence, like Alcon, step forward because they care deeply about their community. Alcon’s commitment truly stands the test of time. Now in their twenty‑sixth year of partnership with Trinity Habitat, Alcon continues helping make the dream of homeownership possible. We are deeply grateful for Alcon and so excited for Rhonda and her family.”
