Jess Koloini Named President and CEO of the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth

Former VP of Programs Returns After Distinguished Career in Aerospace and Defense

Dallas/Fort Worth, TX – December 2, 2025 – The World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth has selected Jess Koloini to serve as its next President and Chief Executive Officer, marking a homecoming for a leader who helped shape the organization during a transformative period in its history. “Jess brings a rare combination of institutional knowledge, global experience, and proven leadership that positions our Council for continued growth and impact,” said Larry B. Pascal, Board Chair. Koloini’s appointment reunites her with an organization where she spent six formative years (2005-2011), advancing from intern to Vice President of Programs. Her tenure coincided with major milestones including the Fort Worth merger, significant membership expansion, and the growth of the Council’s signature programming from a handful of events to 100 annually.

Following her departure to pursue graduate studies at Texas A&M University’s Bush School of Government and Public Service, Koloini built a distinguished career in aerospace and defense where she forged strategic relationships with government officials, diplomatic corps, and industry partners on five continents. “The World Affairs Council has always been more than a place for conversation – it’s a catalyst for understanding and action,” said Koloini. “I’m honored to return to an organization that shaped my career and excited to work with our members and community to ensure we remain relevant, impactful, and essential in connecting North Texas to the world.”

Her credentials extend beyond corporate leadership. In addition to remaining an active member of the World Affairs Council for more than two decades, Koloini previously served on the WorldDenver Board of Directors.

She has deep roots in our history and understands what made us successful, but she also brings fresh vision and the global perspective to lead us confidently into the future. I’m thrilled to pass the torch to someone so uniquely qualified.”
