One runoff set for June 7

To win a seat on the Fort Worth City Council, a candidate must secure more than 50% of the votes. If no candidate achieves the majority, the top two vote-getters move to a runoff election.

This year, District 6 is the only district that’s headed to a runoff, with Mia Hall and Daryl R. Davis II vying for the majority vote. Voters will head to the polls Saturday, June 7, to decide who will fill the District 6 seat.

Jared Williams, the current District 6 councilmember, announced earlier this year that he would not seek a third term.
