WHO: Goodwill North Central Texas leadership, community leaders and residents of Arlington and surrounding areas.
WHAT: Goodwill North Central Texas will celebrate the grand opening of its new Mansfield retail store, the organization’s largest location in its territory, with a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m., followed by music from a live DJ and snow cones from Kona Ice from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. (free for the first 200 guests).
The newly relocated store features an expanded 19,677-square-foot space designed to better serve the growing Mansfield community, increase access to affordable shopping and donations, and support Goodwill’s mission. The larger footprint allows for increased inventory, an enhanced shopping experience and the creation of new jobs in the area. The event is open to the public and offers a fun, family-friendly atmosphere to welcome the community. As with all Goodwill locations, revenue from the sale of donated goods helps fund Goodwill’s free education, job training and employment programs, serving individuals with disabilities, veterans, at-risk youth, the formerly incarcerated and those experiencing homelessness across North Central Texas.
WHEN: Friday, March 27, 2026 Ribbon Cutting: 9:00 a.m. Kona Ice (free for the first 200): 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Regular Store Hours: Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. & Sunday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
